‘Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme’ will cover black fungus treatment also

In view of the increasing cases of black fungus disease in the state, the Rajasthan Government has also included its treatment in the Chief Minister’s Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme (Chirnjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana). This will give a lot of relief to the common man.

Along with the corona in Rajasthan, now the black fungus (Mucoromiasis) has also raised concerns, Gehlot government has included it in the Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme in the state, In this insurance scheme of Rajasthan Government, there is a provision of free treatment for every person up to ₹5 lakh per year in government and allied private hospitals.

Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme was launched in last month

In this health insurance cover, 1576 packages and procedures for treatment of various diseases have been included. Medical expenses related to the medical package of 5 days before the hospitalization of the patient, examination, medicines and the related package of 15 days after discharge will also be included in the free treatment.

Now treatment of black fungus in Rajasthan is also included in ‘Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme’

What is Black Fungus (Mucoromiasis)

Mucoromiasis (black fungus) is a type of fungal infection. It reaches the brain through the nose and eye. This also leads to the death of the patient. If someone has mucorumiasis (black fungus) disease and it is known in time, then its treatment is possible. According to doctors, the doctor should be contacted as soon as possible after seeing its symptoms. People who have become negative after being Covid-19 positive should especially pay attention to its symptoms.

The Ashok Gehlot government of the state has already included Covid-19 and other diseases in this scheme. Now after the increasing case of black fungus in the state, treatment of this disease was also included in Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme.
